Meer Nederlands faam met Eddie Driessen, die onvermoeibaar Pluto platenspelers draaiend hield. Hij combineerde ze met Duevel Jupiter rondomstralende hoorns en VAC versterking. Echt mooi is dat Pluto spul en zo tot in de kleinste details geperfectioneerd. Eddie deed alles wat de bezoekers vroegen, zelfs draaien zonder puck of ring om de plaat, en hij bleef aardig ondanks de volkomen misplaatste opmerking van een Duitser die: “het ineens muzikaler vond”. Hou het maar bij de puck en ring Eddie, je hebt gelijk wat ons betreft.

Seit Jahren konstante Klanggröße auf der High End: Lautsprecher von Duevel: Hier in schwarzem Klavierlack die "Jupiter", angetrieben von einer 300 B-Röhrenelektronik. Selbst in einem dieser Container kann es noch gut klingen.

I particularly enjoyed what I heard from Duevel. They had a small space and their omni-directional speakers where absolutely stunning. I found these speakers in a couple of rooms and since this was my first exposure to them, and even though the surroundings weren't optimum, I must admit I was quite impressed with what I was hearing. I heard their Bella Luna Diamante and Jupiter and I'm here to tell you these speakers did a fine job.
VAC Pi30i integrated amplifier was at the Munich Germany High End Society show driving Duevel's new Jupiter that features a 4-inch titanium for the upper frequencies and 12-inch paper cone woofer. An improved cabinet and crossover network make the Jupiter easier to drive with a 93dB/W/m at 8 ohms. VAC's Avatar was reviewed here and the Duevel Bella Luna loudspeaker here.

Duevel
Al een paar jaar komt het luidsprekermerk Duevel op mijn weg. Nu in de geprepareerde luisterkamer staat Eddy Driessen mij te woord, mede omdat zijn nieuwste versie van de ‘Pluto’ 
staat te spelen. Nieuwtje van de show is dat hij deze bijzondere luidspreker in
ons land gaat vertegenwoordigen.
